Synchronize local PC password
There is a function that saves your login password locally, encrypted on your PC. When you change your password it is important you also get this locally stored password updated.
If you have different passwords for the PC and your online account you will have problems with many applications (Outlook, Office, Cisco AnyConnect, Citrix etc. also internal servers and disks) that reads of the locally logged in account of the PC and uses it for access. When that password is not the same as the online password, you will not get access and the account can get locked out for trying to access with the wrong password too many times.
If you login to your PC with an old password this it what you do to fix it:
- Start Cisco Secure Client AnyConnect and login with the new password, let it stay connected

- Try to unlock the screen using your NEW online password
