Win 11 - how to easily arrange your windows
Windows 11 provides a very handy way to snap your windows in place so you have the best overview of multiple open windows at the same time.
Let's say we have to applications that we want to open side by side. We will take Chrome (that has this article open) and Word.
- Select one of the applications you want to snap in place (Chrome or Word)
- Move your cursor to the top right of the screen and hover over the icon next to the 'X'-icon.
- You will now see new lay-outs appear. The one you hover over, will highlight.
- When you're done choosing where you want the current window to go, click that option
- The window will snap itself to that position of the screen.
- Next, choose which application you want to have on the other side of the screen.
- You're all done!
